Arrived in Baltimore Sep.20, 2011 9:30pm after a long flite from Manila via Narita and Atlanta. Fr. Don Fest SSJ met me and we proceeded for dinner together w/his friend Bert. Slept well as I was tired. Baltimore was my stop before Washington DC where I was to attend the Peace Corps 50th Anniversary events.
Next day, I attended Fr. Fest's morning Mass attended by some faithful parishioners. At noon, my friend Noel Tolentino arrived from New York to visit. We picked him up at the bus station and had a leisurely lunch at the Cheesecake Factory in Inner Harbor. Quite relaxing. Spent the rest of the day relaxing and fighting jet lag.
