Cremation of Doc Freddy

Yesterday afternoon at 4 pm we brought the remains of Dikong Freddy to Loyola Crematorium Marikina for his cremation which lasted about an hour and a half. I said the prayers of commitment and benediction and we all blessed his remains with holy water from Lourdes before it was brought to the chamber. As the cremation was going on the siblings and families present prayed the novena for Dboy's eternal happy rest. Then we shared some merienda. After the urn was sealed it was brouht home by Evelyn, Grace and RJ to stay with them until inurnment on Papa's death anniversary on July 16. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. May his souls and all the souls of our faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

Farewell Dboy. You returned to the Lord suddenly on Sunday morning, 5 July, Maricar's birthday. We enjoyed 72 years of your life. Enjoy your eternal reunion with Papa, Mama, Kuyang, Evelyn's parents, Tatay, Nanay, all our relatives and friends, incuding Norman and John. Always pray to God for us here as we still face lots of challenges.

Independence Day 2019, Berlin, NJ, USA

Arrived at 1:30am at JFK after a 15 hours' direct flight on the new Philippine Airlines Airbus Neo350. Was met by Frs. Philip and Raymund of Alagad ni Maria, now assigned with Fr. Michael at St. Simon Stock Parish in Berlin, NJ. After 8am Mass presided by Fr. Michael, we had brunch at a local diner then passed by the Independence Day Parade. Going tonight to watch the Fireworks in the Atlantic Coast. Deo gratias for this opportunity to visit my Hijados. God bless America.

FAREWELL JOHN HARPER EADE

My dear friend John departed peacefully on January 18, 2019 

after suffering from spinal cancer.

May God grant him eternal happy rest in Paradise.
